Restaurant OPUS

For 150 years composers, maestri and authors have been part of a long list of illustrious guests at the Hotel Imperial. A meeting place for artists, a place for dialogue and a location where a wealth of creativity has given birth to many masterpieces. We want to offer you an elegant stage and at the same time a discrete setting for many inspired and delightful conversations. And so the name stands for the program - classic and immediate - locally rooted, with an international claim.

OPUS (Latin for "oeuvre" or "creation", particularly of a composer) moreover stands for the complete work of every creative artist or craft. The restaurant OPUS therefore also owes its name to the fact that the Hotel Imperial is located next to the famous Musikerverein concert hall.

At  OPUS, Josef Hoffmann's listed Viennese architectural style of the 1930s meets the zeitgeist. Lovingly restored furniture in a historical arrangement, together with the artistic wood paneling, create an almost magical atmosphere, while fine fabrics provide calming color accents.
